GOLD LOCUST

GOLD LOCUST is an experienced, financially motivated organised crime group comprising members from Russia and former Soviet states including Ukraine and Belarus. The group target Russian and Ukrainian banks. Members of GOLD LOCUST have extensive experience in building malware to conduct fraudulent payments via online banking facilities, targeting consumer and corporate accounts. GOLD LOCUST is sometimes referred to in open source as 'Carbank', however Carbanak is a toolkit used by GOLD LOCUST but also used by other groups such as GOLD NIAGARA (FIN7).
