OASIS Open (Standard)

TAXII (Trusted Automated eXchange of Intelligence Information) 2.1 is an open standard protocol for exchanging cyber threat intelligence in a structured and automated manner. It defines RESTful API services for sharing STIX (Structured Threat Information eXpression) objects including indicators of compromise, threat actor profiles, attack patterns, and vulnerability information. 

TAXII 2.1 enables organizations to consume threat intelligence feeds from commercial providers, ISACs, government agencies, and community sharing groups in a standardized format. Integration with XDR platforms allows automated ingestion of IOCs and threat intelligence that enhances detection rules, enriches alerts with contextual information, and improves threat hunting capabilities.
