Microsoft Azure Storage provides massively scalable object, file, queue, and table storage services. Storage Account diagnostic logs capture all read, write, and delete operations performed against blob, table, queue, and file storage resources, including both successful and failed requests with full operation details. 

Storage analytics logs are valuable for security monitoring as they reveal unauthorized access attempts, data exfiltration patterns, suspicious download activity, and misconfigured access policies. They capture the identity making each request, the operation performed, the response status, and detailed timing information, enabling detection of anomalous data access patterns and investigation of potential data breaches.
