F5 Access Policy Manager (APM) is an access management proxy that provides secure, unified access to applications, APIs, and data. It delivers identity-aware access control, SSL VPN, web application access management, and identity federation through a flexible policy engine on the BIG-IP platform. 

F5 APM generates detailed access logs covering user authentication events, session establishment, policy evaluation results, SSO transactions, and resource access decisions. These logs provide visibility into application access patterns, enabling detection of unauthorised access, credential abuse, and anomalous user behaviour.
