Cisco AMP (Advanced Malware Protection) for Endpoints, now known as Cisco Secure Endpoint, is an enterprise endpoint security solution that provides prevention, detection, and response capabilities against advanced threats. It uses a combination of signature-based detection, machine learning, behavioural analytics, and cloud-based sandboxing to identify and block malware. 

The platform provides continuous monitoring and retrospective security, tracking every file that enters the environment and alerting if a previously unknown file is later determined to be malicious. Its event logs capture malware detections, quarantine actions, policy violations, and endpoint compromise indicators for security monitoring and incident investigation.
