Jake Dorval

Jake Dorval is the Global Head of Sophos Advisory Services, where he leads the Security Consulting organization, consisting of the Red Team, Incident Response, and Incident Readiness practices. With 20+ years of experience in cybersecurity, he brings deep expertise across both offensive and defensive operations, helping organizations strengthen resilience and respond effectively to complex cyber threats. Under his leadership, globally distributed teams have supported customers of all sizes, industries, and geographies in improving their security posture and navigating critical incidents.

Prior to Sophos, Jake served as a Senior Director at Secureworks and held cybersecurity leadership roles at RSA Security and Booz Allen Hamilton, working with customers across both commercial and government sectors. Jake began his career in the U.S. Air Force, serving for eight years as a Network Intelligence Analyst and Cyber Intelligence Liaison in support of the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command.
