Michael Anderson joined Sophos as Senior Vice President, Global Technical Services in March 2015. In this role he leads the company’s customer and partner support strategy worldwide, driving a passion for customer delight, service innovation and efficiency to the global organization.

Michael brings more than 30 years of leadership and global organization development expertise from within the security software industry. Prior to joining Sophos, Michael was vice president for Fortinet Inc., where he was instrumental in improving customer satisfaction worldwide. Following the acquisition of Nokia’s Network Security Division, Michael was director, global services at Check Point Software Technologies, managing a team of professionals across 81 countries.

Prior to Nokia, Michael implemented a carrier-class support process at Mobius Interactive, and eventually integrated the company with Glenayre Technologies. During five years as vice president of services for SonicWALL Inc., Michael developed and launched a portfolio of services, including subscription-based offerings.

His earlier career also included service and support roles at SGI (Silicon Graphics) Global Services, Electro-Scientific Industries and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).
