Bill Robbins

Bill joined Sophos in April 2023 as President, Worldwide Field Operations. He is responsible for all go-to-market and customer support activities, including global sales, training and enablement, customer success, and customer support.

Bill has an extensive and accomplished background in sales leadership for enterprise software, SaaS, and cybersecurity companies built over a 30-year career. Prior to joining Sophos, he was CRO and EVP for Mandiant. Prior to Mandiant, Bill was EVP of Worldwide Sales at FireEye. During his tenure, he was also the General Manager of FireEye Products where he led all Product Engineering and Product Management resulting in the successful $1.2B divestiture of this business in 2021. In 2022, he was part of the Executive Team that executed Mandiant’s acquisition by Google Cloud. Before FireEye, Bill served as EVP of Worldwide Sales at Nuance Communications. Before that, he was EVP of Worldwide Sales and Services for Symantec. In this role he was responsible for sales operations across the company and for all consulting, education, enablement, and business critical services.

Bill holds bachelor's degrees in business administration and economics, both with top honors from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He is also a Certified Management Accountant.
