Sophos (LSE: SOPH), a global leader in network and endpoint security, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named 11 Sophos executives worldwide to the prestigious 2019 Women of the Channel list. For the third year in a row, Sophos has the most women from any dedicated IT security company included on CRN’s Women of the Channel list. For the second year in a row, CRN has also honored Kendra Krause, Erin Malone and Caralyn Stern on its 2019 Power 100 list, an elite subset of the group. The Power 100 belong to an exclusive group of the overall list: women whose leadership and vision are key drivers of their companies’ success and have had significant influence to move the entire IT channel forward.

“CRN’s recognition is a huge honor for the talented Sophos executives who champion the channel every day. Each of these 11 women have strategically built or expanded Sophos’ world-class channel-first, channel-best programs to support our growing roster of partners,” said Michael Valentine, chief revenue officer, Sophos. “The cybersecurity landscape is constantly evolving, and this impressive group of leaders is always at the forefront of bringing innovative next-generation security technology and effective selling solutions to partners to help them keep their customers safe. We support programs like CRN’s Women of the Channel to encourage women to pursue careers in the cybersecurity industry, and I’m excited to see our Sophos executives leading the way.”

These accolades follow Sophos’ recent 5-star rating in CRN’s 2019 Partner Program Guide and the inclusion of six Sophos executives on the 2019 CRN Channel Chiefs list, further demonstrating the company’s ‘channel-best’ commitment. The Sophos Partner Program has grown to serve approximately 47,000 channel partners globally, and the MSP Connect Program has become the fastest growing segment within Sophos’ sales organization with more than 6,400 MSPs.

“CRN’s 2019 Women of the Channel list honors influential leaders who are accelerating channel growth through mutually-beneficial partnerships, incredible leadership, strategic vision, and unique contributions in their field,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “This accomplished group of leaders is driving channel success and we are proud to honor their achievements.”
