Mimecast Email Security Cloud Gateway detects threats that target email, including phishing, ransomware, and brand impersonation. 

Sophos MDR and Sophos XDR customers using Mimecast Email Security can strengthen their defenses against advanced threats. The integration sends Mimecast Email Security data to the Sophos Central platform, which is then filtered, cleaned, correlated, and in some cases, escalated for investigation by analysts.
