Sophos UTM (formerly Astaro Security Gateway)

Astaro Command Center (will become Sophos UTM Manager)
A central management application lets users see and work with all Sophos UTM products through a single login. You can access the full ISO below. Astaro Command Center requires a license after 30 days, but you can request the download link, installation guideline and a full license file in a complete package by filling out our web form.
Sophos UTM Smart Installer
A special USB device where you can place the latest version of a Sophos UTM image on a Sophos UTM appliance, for example if the installation is many updates or major versions behind. This saves you the long process of applying many updates or moving across major versions all at once.
There are two versions of the Sophos UTM Smart Installer software, both providing identical functionality. Please note that you will only be able to write a specific software version to your USB stick depending on the model's production date. Version 2 models can be identified by the hole in the cap.

Burning to the ASI
- STEP 1: Download the latest imaging package for ASI for the desired product (above).
- STEP 2: Connect the ASI to a Windows computer containing the imaging package.
- STEP 3: Extract the archive and run the ASI.exe application
- STEP 4: Use the newly imaged ASI to install on the target platform, as described below.
Installation Steps
- STEP 1: Make sure the target Sophos UTM device is powered off.
- STEP 2: Insert the Sophos UTM Smart Installer into a free USB port on the target device.
- STEP 3: Power on the target device.
- STEP 4: Wait for the installation to finish. To use the ASI to install on a Sophos UTM device you need to hook up a monitor and keyboard to follow the on-screen installation steps. Complete the installation steps accordingly. Appliance installs are unattended, however we recommend you use a monitor to know when the installation has completed.
Please Note: This operation will completely erase your existing configuration (Rules, Logs, Policies, etc.). If you wish to restore your previous configuration, please have a suitable backup file prepared to restore after the installation.
