Upgrading to the latest version of your current license
The Sophos Control Center automatically upgrades the Sophos software on your machines whenever a new version is available - you don’t need to do anything. The upgrades happen automatically and keep all of your existing settings.
Upgrading to a Sophos Business license
Customers using Sophos Small Business Edition (SBE) solutions* can upgrade to a Sophos Business licenses at no additional charge, and at any time.

We will launch the Windows 8 compatible firewall for our Business licenses in January 2013. In the interim period, we recommend you either:
a) Continue using your current Windows operating system, or
b) Ensure the Microsoft Windows 8 firewall is enabled

Note:
- Customers whose current operating system is not supported for Sophos Business licenses will need to move to a supported platform in order to upgrade.
- To upgrade to Sophos Endpoint Protection—Advanced or Sophos Web Protection Suite follow the same steps as for a Business license.
- To upgrade to Sophos Data Protection Suite or Sophos Complete Security Suite please speak to your Partner, Sophos account manager or Sophos technical support to identify the best process for you.
