Enterprise Console displays the following error message:
Error e03d0211 - Communication error between on-access driver and service for [...]

Sophos Anti-Virus reports this error when it isn’t able to access a required service.
This error can occur on any type of computer, but it is commonly seen on laptops after they have been in standby. In this case, the on-access driver does not load up immediately and the delay causes error e03d0211 to appear in the Enterprise Console.
What To Do
You do not need to do anything when you see this error message unless:
- You encounter this error frequently and it is affecting your computer's performance. If your computer stops responding for up to ten minutes after encountering this error, check your Windows event log for ID 54. If it logs ten minutes’ worth of event 54, contact Sophos Technical Support for more information.
- Your computer restarts automatically whenever you encounter this error. If this is happening frequently, you may wish to create a memory dump and send it to Sophos Technical Support to better understand the cause of the reboot.
