When you attempt to uninstall PureMessage for Microsoft Exchange the uninstall fails and errors such as any of the following are generated:
Setup was unable to stop services
First seen in
One or more file/folder/process is held open by the operating system.
What To Do
- Restart the PureMessage computer and try again.
If this fails to resolve the problem:
- Go to Add/Remove programs, and remove the Sophos components in the following order:
- Sophos AutoUpdate
- Sophos Anti-Virus
