During installation of endpoint software the follow error may be seen:
Failed to install [...]; Setup has timed out

This is a generic error forwarded by the installer to the console.
What to do
- This error can be displayed temporarily during installation if communications on your network are slow. Wait a few minutes. The problem may correct itself.
- Check log files and workstation computer screens for other error codes, then search the Sophos knowledgebase for those error codes. Follow the advice given for those messages.
- If you cannot resolve it in this way, uninstall and re-install the endpoint software on the computer.
