When you use PureMessage for Windows/Exchange to add the disclaimer to your company emails, the disclaimer that is applied to plain text emails loses its correct formatting due to the removal of line breaks. This occurs in both incoming and outgoing email.
This issue is caused by an option found in recent versions of Microsoft Outlook, called 'Remove extra linebreaks'. It only seems to affect plain text emails.
What to do
- In Microsoft Outlook, disable the 'Remove extra linebreaks' option.
