When Sophos Update Manager (SUM), version 1.5.2 and later is installed on a computer, it is responsible for maintaining the installation of Sophos Remote Management System (RMS).  If SUM is removed then RMS is also uninstalled.

What To Do

If you wish to continue to manage the computer from Enterprise Console after uninstalling SUM, it is recommended that you re-protect the computer from Sophos Enterprise Console.

With no SUM installed on the computer, once re-protected RMS will be installed and managed by Sophos AutoUpdate.
