How to pre-select or hide the Customer name at Self Service Logon on Sophos Mobile Control

If you have only one customer configured on Sophos Mobile Control (SMC), you can either pre-select or hide the customer field so users do not have to enter it.

What To Do

To pre-select the SMC customer for the Self Service Portal (SSP) follow the steps below.

  1. Connect to the Sophos Mobile Control web console
  2. Log in with a super administrator account.
  3. Go to "Setup | Self Service Portal" (for SMC 4 "Settings | Self Service Portal"
  4. Within the "Configuration" tab the "Login customer preselection" exists
  5. To pre-select the customer at Self Service Login:
    • Select "Default customer" and choose the customer name from the drop down box
    • To hide the customer field, clear the checkbox "visible and editable"
  6. Save the changes

After saving the configuration it is immediately applied to the Self Service Portal.
