When trying to add the license file for SafeGuard Easy or Enterprise to the Policy Editor or Management Center, you receive the error
Could not verify the signature of the license file

The signature of the file cannot be verified if the file wasn't saved correctly.
What To Do
- Make sure that the license file was saved correctly as .xml file. You should use "File - Save file as" and select the filetype ".xml". It's not possible to copy the content of the file from the browser window and paste it into another file.
- Try using another browser to save the license file. Follow the instructions from (1).
- If the Policy Editor or Management Center is installed on a host with access to the internet, you can enter the URL of the license file in the "Open file" dialogue after clicking on "Import license file".
