When trying to protect one or more computers using the protect computer wizard the following error is seen on the 'Protection summary' page:
The applied software subscription does not contain software this computer can use.

You have attempted to protect a computer with an operating system not covered (supported) by the subscription set in the updating policy.
What To Do
First check the packages you are subscribed to under the 'Update Manger' view in the Enterprise Console cover the operating systems you wish to protect - you may need to change the package you are subscribed to. Then make sure that the updating policy set against the group containing the computer you wish to protect has the correct subscription name.
