|Sophos received a higher customer satisfaction rating than any other security vendor, Computing magazine revealed.|
Sophos, a world leader in protecting businesses from viruses and spam, has been rated "Vendor of the Year" in the Security category of Computing's ImageTrak 2004 customer satisfaction survey.
The study, conducted by VNU's Computing Magazine, confirmed Sophos offers the highest level of customer satisfaction in the security industry. It is the second year running that Sophos has received the prestigious award.
"Specialism may be perceived as a weakness in other areas, but customers want a business that is focused on a strength in security. Maybe other markets should be taking a leaf out of their book," said James Burckhardt, VNU head of research, who led the study of more than 3000 IT professionals and more than 600 financial managers.
"To be recognised as delivering the best customer satisfaction and outperforming our competitors by such a margin is a great achievement. Sophos's staff are especially proud to have received this award for a second year running," said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for Sophos. "The secret to the Sophos's very high level of customer satisfaction is that we deliver world-beating reliable products, backed up by superb customer service."

About the ImageTrak survey
ImageTrak is an online survey carried out by research company NOP World. The survey included 3029 IT professionals, drawn from Computing and IT Week readers, and 622 finance professionals from Financial Director magazine. The fieldwork was carried out from 16 June-2 July 2004.
