Sophos Security Expert to Discuss the Changing Threat Landscape for 2010 and Beyond at SC World Congress

BOSTON - November 10, 2010 - Global IT security and data protection firm Sophos today announced that Senior Security Advisor Chester Wisniewski will be presenting the latest malware threats impacting organizations at SC World Congress Data Security and Expo at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers in New York City on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 10:00am ET.

Chester Wisniewski's session, titled "The Changing Threat Landscape: 2010 and Beyond" will walk attendees through two recent malware attacks to provide a better understanding as to how these attacks work, the potential damage that may result in unprotected infrastructures, and how organizations must have a security strategy in place to combat these threats. The demonstration will be followed by a Q&A session with Head of Systems Security Eamonn Medlar at WPP 2005 Ltd where he'll discuss the impact of these malware threats and how best to protect digital assets.

As a senior security advisor for Sophos, he regularly provides advice and insight into the latest threats for security and IT professionals with the goal of providing clear guidance on complex topics for the media and he frequently speaks at conferences, seminars and user groups.
