IT security and data protection firm Sophos has announced its
annual partner awards, crowning Foursys as 'UK Partner of the Year'
for the ninth consecutive year. Foursys was awarded the coveted
title based on the company's strong new and renewal business, as
well as demonstrating commitment in areas of sales and product
In addition to 'UK Partner of the Year', Foursys also walked
away with 'Public Sector Partner of the Year', championing
proactive levels of engagement with Sophos's Public Sector team,
and demonstrating a strong understanding of the vertical markets
for active sales engagement.
"In the last year the Foursys sales and technical teams have
been working very closely with the various Sophos sales teams in
NHS, Local Government, Education and Corporate and this is paying
off for both companies with a 25% increase in revenue over the last

The awards took place on 20 May at the Belfry Hotel, Oxford, as
part of the Sophos UK Partner Conference 2010. This annual event
gives Sophos partners an insight into the company's future plans
and developments. This year, partners were invited to take part in
team-building activities including axe-throwing and cross-bow
