Sophos, a world leader in corporate anti-virus protection, today announced that its virus scanning technology has been selected for use in the NTTPC Communications' shared server hosting service, WebARENA Suite, to protect NTTPC customers against computer viruses and other malicious code. NTTPC Communications is one of the largest internet service providers in Japan.

Sophos Anti-Virus will be used on the NTTPC Communications' WebARENA Suite server to scan all email for over 70,000 computer viruses, worms and Trojan horses.
