Role

To proactively generate new business opportunities for the entire Sophos product line based on marketing lead generation activities. The SDR role is to help quantify lead conversion and provide qualitative feedback on lead campaigns and assigned special projects.

Main Duties

  • Meet and/or exceed daily and monthly performance targets for number of LiveChat visitors, LiveChat response times, qualified leads passed and pipeline contribution.
  • Provide a professional and helpful LiveChat experience to our website visitors
  • Qualify sales leads from LiveChat visitors.
  • Ability to articulate value and uncover needs during LiveChat conversations.
  • Perform research on companies as a component of lead generation and qualification activities utilizing the web and other research tools available.
  • Develop detailed summaries of qualified leads for Sales Reps and our Partners to understand a prospect’s /customers business pain and infrastructure.
  • Update CRM with conversations, competitive information, company size, decision making criteria and other pertinent information.
  • Attend and participate in weekly/monthly assigned Sales team meetings.
  • Provide feedback and improvements to Sales Development program and Marketing process.
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback to marketing, sales, channel partners and other special campaign team members.
  • Quantitative elements include company profiling, Chat to opportunity conversion, sales pipeline, and similar metrics on assigned special projects.
  • Qualitative elements include trends, conversation topics, chat / contact interest and perspective.

Experience and Skills

  • Experience in a similar sales role
  • Ability to identify needs/pain
  • Ability to present value based messaging
  • Solid Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Familiar with CRM system for managing leads
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Post secondary degree
