Director, National Accounts

Responsible for driving and growing revenue for Sophos through the management of assigned national channel partners and the team that supports them.

Main Duties

  • Achieve quarterly and annual bookings quota for all assigned named partner(s)
  • Select, retain, develop, and manage direct employees in order to meet or exceed objectives
  • Set goals and business plan for named partner(s) and Sophos team
  • Direct and manage team to successfully execute on goals and business plan
  • Oversee execution on marketing and business plan with named partner(s)
  • Enable Sophos team with tools and resources to drive their success
  • Align Sophos executives and sales resources to support and grow sales with national partner(s)
  • Identify new market opportunities within account(s)
  • Cultivate strong consultative relationships with key individuals and executives at assigned national partner organizations and act as a single point of contact to ensure partner satisfaction
  • Complete weekly and quarterly reports to Sophos and the account’s executive team on activities and metrics of account(s) and team
  • Accurately forecast revenue for named partner(s)
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of partner’s business (pain points, investment areas, profitability factors, etc.)
  • Consistently articulate Sophos’ value proposition to assigned national partners in order to maintain and increase Sophos’ share of partner’s busines

Experience and Skills

  • In depth experience of recruiting, onboarding and managing national channel partners in a technology environment
  • Experience of developing and executing on business plans
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding partner sales quotas
  • Successful experience managing a team of field sales, inside sales, and SEs
  • Knowledge and experience managing named partner
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Strong Presentation skills
  • Ability to manage a senior sales team
  • Secondary education
  • Experience selling security solutions
  • Familiarity with Sophos solutions or similar competitive products
  • Knowledge of security industry, including competitors, market needs and trends
  • Familiarity with SFDC
  • Technical background
