More Information
WM97/Marker-CU is a variant of the WM97/Marker-R Word macro virus.
Between September 15th to September 30th the virus displays a message box:
If you click "Yes" another message box appears:
"Thank You! I love you. You are really sexy."
However, if you click "No" a message box appears saying:
"You are Heart Less.
You Will Be Punished"
The virus then attempts to disconnect non-local drives.
The virus contains the following text, which does not get displayed:
"Happy Birthday Daredevil. We'll always remember you."
"The Daredevil's Birthday falls on the 15th of September. Don't Forget to wish him."
