Windows NT/2000/XP/2003
In Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 you will also need to edit the following registry entry. The removal of this entry is optional in Windows 95/98/Me. Please read the warning about editing the registry.
At the taskbar, click Start|Run. Type 'Regedit' and press Return. The registry editor opens.
Before you edit the registry, you should make a backup. On the 'Registry' menu, click 'Export Registry File'. In the 'Export range' panel, click 'All', then save your registry as Backup.
Locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE entry:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Explorer
<Windows folder>\config_.com
and delete it if it exists.
Close the registry editor.

W32/Floppy-D is a floppy drive worm that may attempt to copy itself to
A:\New document.exe
When first run W32/Floppy-D may copy itself to:
<Windows system folder>\calc.exe
<Windows folder>\config_.com
<Startup folder>\startupfolder.com
\New Document.exe
W32/Floppy-D will also attempt to copy itself into folders on local hard drives using the folder name as the executable name. For example, <Folder Name>\<Folder Name>.exe
W32/Floppy-D creates the file \Autorun.inf. This file may be deleted.
The following registry entry is created to run config_.com on startup:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

W32/Floppy-D may periodically cause the infected computer to beep and may also attempt to shutdown Microsoft Windows.
