Troj/Tiotua-C is a Trojan for the Windows platform.

Troj/Tiotua-C includes functionality to access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP.

When first run Troj/Tiotua-C copies itself to:

<Windows>\SVICHHOST.exe
<System>\SVICHHOST.exe

and creates the file <System>\setting.ini.

The following registry entry is created to run SVICHHOST.exe on startup:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Yahoo Messengger
<System>\SVICHHOST.exe

The following registry entry is changed to run SVICHHOST.exe on startup:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
Shell
Explorer.exe SVICHHOST.exe

The following registry entries are set, disabling system software:
