Troj/Riler-W is a backdoor Trojan for the Windows platform.

Troj/Riler-W runs continuously in the background, providing a backdoor server which allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer via IRC channels.

When first run Troj/Riler-W copies itself to <System>\xwinupdaterarx.exe.

The following registry entries are created to run xwinupdaterarx.exe on startup:

Troj/Riler-W sets the following registry entries, disabling the automatic startup of other software:
