More Information
Troj/Ranck-AM is a proxy Trojan that allows a remote intruder to route HTTP traffic through the computer.
In order to run on system start Troj/Ranck-AM sets the following registry entry:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
<random> = <path to EXE>
Troj/Ranck-AM runs in the background listening on a port in the range 10000 to 65535. The Trojan posts configuration data to several remote sites.
