Troj/Piebot-A runs continuously in the background, providing a backdoor server which allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer via IRC channels.

When first run Troj/Piebot-A copies itself to <System>\MidiDef32.exe.

Troj/Piebot-A will modify the HOSTS file in order to block access to anti-virus related urls.

The following registry entries are created to run MidiDef32.exe on startup:
