Troj/Maran-K is a Trojan for the Windows platform.

When Troj/Maran-K is installed the following files are created:

<Windows folder>\svchost.exe
<Windows system folder>\delmeml.bat
<Windows system folder>\oj3sound.dll
<Windows system folder>\zzt.exe

The files svchost.exe and oj3sound.dll are also detected as Troj/Maran-K. The file delmeml.bat is a script to delete components of Troj/Maran-K. The file zzt.exe is a packing application.

The file <Windows folder>\svchost.exe is registered as a new system driver service named "ADIDown", with a display name of "Power Adapter" and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ADIDown\

Troj/Maran-K may download and execute further files.
