Troj/Hupigon-BS is a backdoor Trojan for the Windows platform.
Troj/Hupigon-BS includes functionality to access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP.
When first run Troj/Hupigon-BS copies itself to <Windows>\window.exe and creates the following files:
<Windows>\window.dll
<Windows>\window_HOOk.DLL
The file window_HOOk.DLL is detected as Troj/Feutel-AO.
The file window.exe is registered as a randomly named system driver service , with a randomly named display name and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\<random name>\
Troj/Hupigon-BS changes settings for Microsoft Internet Explorer by modifying values under:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\
