More Information
Troj/GrayBird-S is a backdoor Trojan for the Windows platform.
When first run Troj/GrayBird-S copies itself to <Windows>\YY_Serer.exe.
The file YY_Serer.exe is registered as a new system driver service named "YY_Sererwin", with a display name of "YY_Serer" and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\YY_Sererwin\
Troj/GrayBird-S injects itself into Internet Explorer and allows unauthorized access to a compromised computer..
Troj/GrayBird-S includes functionality to:
- silently download, install and run new software
- steal and capture information
- setup an FTP server
- capture audio/video streams
