Troj/Feutel-DA is a backdoor Trojan for the Windows platform.

Troj/Feutel-DA includes functionality to access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP.

When first run Troj/Feutel-DA copies itself to <Windows>\2006.exe and creates the following files:

<Windows>\2006.dll
<Windows>\2006Key.DLL
<Windows>\2006_HOOk.DLL

The file 2006.exe is registered as a new system driver service named "2006Server", with a display name of "2006Server" and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\2006Server\

Troj/Feutel-DA changes settings for Microsoft Internet Explorer by modifying values under:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\

The following registry entry is set:
