Troj/Feutel-BI is a backdoor Trojan for the Windows platform.

Troj/Feutel-BI includes functionality to log keypresses, and to access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP.

When first run Troj/Feutel-BI copies itself to <Windows>\G_Server.exe and creates the following files:

<Windows>\G_Server.DLL
<Windows>\G_ServerKey.DLL
<Windows>\G_Server_HOOk.DLL
<Windows>\uninstal.bat

The dll files are also detected as Troj/Feutel-BI.

The file G_Server.exe is registered as a new system driver service named "$Windows_Time", with a display name of "$Windows Time" and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\$Windows_Time\

Troj/Feutel-BI changes settings for Microsoft Internet Explorer by modifying values under:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\
