Troj/Dremn-B is a keylogging Trojan for the Windows platform that also attempts to steal confidentional information including username, computer name, and IP address.

When Troj/Dremn-B is installed the following files are created:

<System>\Policy\policy.dll
<System>\Policy\syspol.exe
<System>\_msopen.exe

The following registry entry is created to run syspol.exe on startup:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
(default)
<System>\Policy\syspol.exe

Also a registry entry is created under the following entry:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Extent\1
