Troj/Bancos-LX is a Trojan for the Windows platform.

Troj/Bancos-LX aims to steal account information for certain banking websites.

When first run Troj/Bancos-LX copies itself to <Windows folder>\Help\unicox.exe and creates the following files:

<Windows folder>\first.dll
<Windows folder>\foxdll.vxd

These are both text files and can safely be deleted.

The following registry entry is created to run unicox.exe on startup:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
foxjjvr4068
<Windows folder>\help\unicox.exe

In an attempt to disable Windows Update, registry entries are created under:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\WindowsUpdate\
