Error message 'Every field must have a value in order to create a user' when installing the Sophos Database

Issue
While performing a custom installation of the Enterprise Console components, you choose to create a new user to connect to the database. In the Database Connection User Account Details, you enter all of the required information, then click Next. The following error message appears:

Every field must have a value in order to create a user.

Known to apply to the following Sophos product and version
Enterprise Console, version 4

What to do

Accept the error message by clicking OK and then click the Back button.

In the previous dialog, either:

• select an existing user
• or in Windows, create a new user and select that user in the installation program.

Then continue with the installation.

This is a known issue.
