Error 2878 while installing Enterprise Console 4

Issue
While installing Enterprise Console, version 4, you see the following error message:

Error 2878. On the dialog GroupsAndUsers the control ComboGlobal has a possible value: [value]
This is an invalid or duplicate value.

Known to affect the following Sophos products and versions:
Enterprise Console

What to do

This error refers to the user group that you (or the installation program) selected during installation.

1. Check your Active Directory Groups for duplicate entries.
