Error opening Enterprise Console 4 after server rename

Issue
You have renamed the server running Enterprise Console and now you get an error message when trying to open Enterprise Console. The error message contains text such as:

UpdateServerView

What to do

Enterprise Console relies on the server's name for a variety of functions. Renaming the server will cause errors opening the database, communicating with endpoints and distributing downloads to endpoints. If you rename your server, the only solution is to revert to the original name.
