Sophos SafeGuard Disk Encryption (SDE): using function keys with the PBA
Instead of pressing the Enter key, you can use the following Function (F) keys after entering your password at the Pre-Boot Authorization (PBA) screen:

F2 |
changes user. |

F7 |
boots from external media (press instead of the Enter key once you've typed your password). |

F9 |
generates a challenge code. Use this when you've forgotten your password and need to enter a challenge/response code to log in. |

F10 |
allows you to change your password once you've logged in. |
