PureMessage for Lotus Domino: upgrading to the latest version
When upgrading to PureMessage for Lotus Domino 4.1 you must be aware of the following:
1. Before you start
You will need a new licence file, called toolkit.lic. To obtain this contact your local Sophos office.
2. Download the correct version of PureMessage
It is available in several versions, according to which version of Domino you have installed:
- PureMessage for Lotus Domino 4.1 for Domino R8 (32-bit version)
- PureMessage for Lotus Domino 4.1 for Domino R8 (64-bit version)
- PureMessage for Lotus Domino 4.1 for Domino R7
Note, if you are running Domino R6, you will need to upgrade this before you can install PureMessage for Lotus Domino 4.1.
3. Configuration immediately following installation
The first time you open PureMessage following the upgrade, the 'Import Standard Configuration' dialog box is displayed. Proceed as follows:
- When asked if you want to import the standard configuration, select 'Yes', then click 'OK'.
- The 4.1 Standard Configuration option is displayed. Select this and then click 'OK'.
- If the 'Execution Security Alert' dialog box is displayed, in the What to do panel, select from the second, third or fourth options. Do not select the first option. This dialog box may appear more than once, if so, select the same option each time.
- The 'Configuration Import' dialog box is now displayed. For details of how to proceed, refer to the Administrator manual, and follow the instructions in the section 'Import Standard Configuration'.
