Sophos Endpoint Security and Control: detection and blocking of malicious scripts

The latest version of Endpoint Security and Control offers additional preventive layers of protection for Windows for detection and blocking of malicious scripts.

Malicious script detection addresses the increased use of malware spreading via the internet, specifically via vulnerable client browsers.

This new functionality can detect and block malicious scripts earlier when using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, 7 or 8, as they are detected and blocked prior to being written to disk, thus enhancing the protection of computers and so reducing the risk of data becoming subject to abuse by hackers.
