If a fresh re-install of Sophos NAC server is required, there may be reporting data loss with the fresh re-install.

If a fresh re-install of Sophos NAC server is required, there may be reporting data loss with the fresh re-install. Data loss may happen only if you have installed the NAC Agent on computers and policies from the original installation were never updated. A fresh re-install of the NAC server means that you have deleted all of the NAC databases and have run the NAC installation again.

What to do:

  1. Once you have completed a fresh install, use the NAC Manager to open each policy.
  2. Click Update. You do not have to actually change any information in the policies.

These steps update the policy version so that the NAC Agent reports information to the NAC Manager correctly.
