Sophos Anti-Virus for Linux: environment issues on SuSe 10.3 prevent on-access scanning

You cannot get on-access scanning running, because Talpa cannot compile against SuSe 10.3

What to do

Type in the following commands before installing Sophos Anti-Virus on a SuSe 10.3 computer:

cd /lib/modules/`uname -r`/source/include
then one of the following,
- for 64-bit:
  ln -s asm-x86_64 asm
- for 32-bit:
  ln -s asm-i386 asm

Technical information
SuSe 10.3 has a symlink missing, which prevents Talpa compiling.
