Sophos Anti-Virus: February 2008 update to the Virus Engine
The Sophos Anti-Virus Virus Engine release number is jumping from 2.53 to 2.70 this month.
This new release adds TrueFileType recognition, which extends the capabilities of the virus engine to classify many more file types than are currently available. Details of how to access this functionality using the Sophos Anti-Virus Interface Developer Toolkit will be released following a period of in-the-field testing.
