PureMessage for Microsoft Exchange: version 3.0 shows 'Unknown Error' in ExchangeStoreScan.log

Issue

Entries are seen in the ExchangeStoreScan.log similar to the below:

PureMessage store scanning has encountered an application error (details: 'Unknown error')

If application error alerts are enabled for the information store scan the below may also be reported:

"Store scanning has encountered an application error & needs urgent attention. Details: Unknown error"

Sophos product and version
PureMessage for Microsoft Exchange 3.0.0 , this issue is fixed in version 3.0.1

What to do

This issue was fixed with the release of version 3.0.1 and above.
