Enterprise Console: displays error 'Interface not registered'
Issue
When you try to open or edit a policy, an error is displayed:
'A component...... has failed' error, with the message:
Interface not registered
Sophos product and version
Sophos Control Center, versions 1.0 and 2.0
Enterprise Console, versions 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0
Operating system
All Supported Platforms
What to do
- Click Start|Run.
- Type in the following command:
Regsvr32 ole32.dll - Click OK
- Re-open the Console and you should now be able to edit the policy.
